Charles Harbison

Charles Harbison, 79, of Morganton went to his heavenly home on Thursday, November 15, 2018.  Born in Burke County, NC on October 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Annie Lee Harbison Jackson and Ralph Surratt.

Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Harbison; son, Shawn Harbison; daughter, Sandra Harbison Johnson; granddaughter, Kea Avery; great-grandson, Tomarion Avery; and brother, Fred Jackson and wife, Barbara.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at New Bethel Baptist Church.  A celebration of Charles’ life will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the church. 

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
