Charles V. Hill

Charles V. Hill, 73, of Glen Alpine, NC died Monday, December 9, 2013. Born in Guilford County, NC on March 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Clyde V. Hill and Maggie Cox Hill.

Mr. Hill is survived by his son, Charles Jeffrey Hill of Asheville, NC and two granddaughters, Carlee Jordan Hill and Carrigan Jolie Hill.In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Leonard Hill; two sisters, Polly C. Edleston and Norma Hill Davis; and an uncle, Alton Hill.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Lineberger officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
