Charles William Jarrett

Charles William Jarrett, 65. of old Hwy 70 Loop, Morganton, NC, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the John S. Keever Junior Solace Center, Asheville. He was born May 26, 1942, in Burke County, to the late Samuel David Jarrett and Flossie Marie Brittain Jarrett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. David Jarrett and sisters, Charlotte Minor and Ellen Jarrett. Charles was a member of Table Rock Seventh Day Adventist Church.Mr. Jarrett is survived by his wife, Blanche Burleson Jarrett; daughter, Karen Sharp and her husband, Edwin, of Mobile, AL; step-son, Tony Ollis and his wife, Lisa Hayward, step-daughters, Paulette Mojica and Joyce Jordan and her husband J. Steven Jordan; sister, Iris Fleming; brother, Harry Jarrett, Sr., all of Morganton; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Calvin Heights Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Calvin Acuff officiating.
