Charlotte Fox Lambert, 87, formerly of Bouchelle Street, Morganton died Thursday, November 29, 2007, at Britthaven following a period of declining health. She was born in Burke County on June 1, 1920 and was a daughter of the late I. L. Fox and Mary Lowman Fox. Mrs. Lambert was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.Surviving are her daughter, Betsy Denton and her husband, Kenneth; son, Theodore R. Lambert, Jr.; a sister, Pauline Stephens; and a granddaughter, Kristin Denton, all of Morganton.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Deviney officiating. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
