Christopher King Alexander, 66, of Nebo, NC, and formerly of Charleston, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Born in Newport, RI on August 25, 1955, he was the son of Donna Faye King and the late Leslie Lincoln Alexander. Christopher was a veteran of the US Army, where he served as a medic. He also served with the South Carolina State Guard and worked as a paramedic, teacher, and trainer. Mr. Alexander was a member of FAM Church and enjoyed his Bible study and prayer lines. Music was a large part of his life, and he recently was a member of the Praise Assembly of God Family Worship Team.
In addition to his mother, Christopher is survived by his wife, Lori Springer Alexander; daughter, Rachel Ranney; grandchildren, Lyla and Logan; sisters, Michelle and Teddi; and special friends, Debi and Jim Snyder.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at the home of Debi and Jim Snyder.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or to a local pet rescue.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
