Clara Janette (Dale) Dale

Clara Janette (Dale) Dale, 84, of Morganton died Wednesday, July 24, 2019.  Born in Burke County, NC on December 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Dale and Mary Wilson Dale.  Clara was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed reading, painting, gardening, and attending church.  Clara attended Salem High School and retired from Morganton Dye and Finishing.  She loved her family.

Clara is survived by her son, David Allen Dale (Melissa); siblings, Mildred Mull, Hugh Dale (Linda), and Ervin Dale (Lisa); nephews, Jamie and Eric Dale; and nieces, Nicole Mull and Alisia Phillips.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joseph David Dale; brother, Charlie Dale; nephew, Brian Dale; niece, Beth Dale; and brother-in-law, Ben Mull.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Salem United Methodist Church.  The memorial service will follow at noon in the church with Rev. Norm Jones officiating.
