Clyde Watts, Sr.

Clyde Watts, Sr., 77, of Morganton went home to be with his Lord on Monday, June 29, 2015. Born November 11, 1937 in Burke County, Clyde was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed his family, good blue grass gospel music, and spending time outdoors.
Surviving are his wife, Aileene Trull Watts; sons, Clyde, Jr. and wife, Janice, and Ricky and wife, Sarah; daughter, Donna Walker and husband, Steve; six grandchildren and their spouses; and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with the Reverends Billy Mace, Jimmy Harmon, and Steven Walker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
