Colin Epps, 62, of Morganton, NC went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, November 7, 2022. He was born on February 4, 1960 in Catawba County to the late Joe Bart Epps and Faye Bowman Epps Lail. Colin was a member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church. As a young man, he worked at Drexel Heritage. He was owner and operator of Epps Cutlery and Collectibles. He was a well-respected gun dealer and attended many gun shows across the USA. Colin was also owner and operator of Freedom USA Pawn and Trade.
Colin is survived by his wife, Diana Gentry Epps; children, C. J. Epps, Sarah Willix, Sabrina Thurman, John Epps, Bradley Triplett and Tyler Triplett (Megan); grandchildren, Ransom and Aubrey Willix and Blakely Triplett; sister, Donna Epps (David Pace); step-father, Buck Lail.
The family will have a graveside service at 1pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Victory Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Rufus Edmisten officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Sorry for the lost of Colin my prayers for the family
Our dear friend Colin. We made so many wonderful memories at EBHS class of 1978.especially in the ROTC class. I was so happy to see you with our special friend Daine. You had a great wife which I loved dearly. You smile and special friendships will live on in our hearts forever. God got a special angel when you went though the heavens gates. It’s not good bye just until we meet again. Prayers for all your loved ones.
