Connie Marie Moore, 67, of Lawndale, NC, gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Born in Columbus, OH on March 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Conley Moore and Gladys Huffman Moore.
Connie was a member of Walkers Chapel Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
Miss Moore is survived by sisters, Sharon Moore Ferguson and Peggy Moore Knoelke; nephew, Josh W. Kincaid; and niece, Gretchen K. Knoelke.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a son, Elijah Moore Webb.
Services for Miss Moore will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or Burke County Friends for Animals.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I am so very sorry. I loved Connie she was my bestest friend ever even tho she wouldn’t let me visit her I thought of her ofter . If there is anything I can do please let me know . I would have loved to come to her funeral services.
