Connie S. Schoenen

Connie S. Schoenen, 65, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 11, 2008. She was born in Haywood County, NC on May 9, 1943 and was a daughter of the late Barrey and Catherine Biggs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dallas Biggs and Charles Biggs.Mrs. Schoenen is survived by her husband, C. A. Schoenen; a son, Gregory Lawing and his wife and their three children, of Asheville; a daughter, Nanette Bovrresh and her husband and their two children, of Cincinnati, OH; four brothers, Wayne Biggs, Bill Biggs, Ray Biggs and Horace Biggs; a brother-in-law Bill Schoenen and wife, Priscilla, of Morganton; two sister-in-law, Rosemary Buersmer, of Jefferson City, MO and Ruth Parsa, of Leawood, KS.A funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2008, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Whittington officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Sossoman Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 728 W.
