Constance Houle St. Armand

Constance Houle St. Armand, 69, of Morgan Trace Dr. in Valdese died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Valdese Hospital following a brief illness. She was born April 19, 1940 in Middlesex County, MA, and was a daughter of the late Gilbert Houle and Laurette Charest Houle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard St. Armand.Constance is survived by daughters, M. Angela Ducharme of Kingston, NH, Pamela A. Murphy and husband, Charles Michael Murphy of Haverhill, MA, and Marcella J. Ferrara of Bedford, NH; grandchildren, Jillian Ducharme, Christy Ducharme, Elizabeth Murphy, Scott Murphy, Katelynn Sweeney, Brittany Sweeney, and Alexis Ferrara; a great-granddaughter, Mia Wheeler; a brother, Donald Houle of Tampa, FL; and sisters, Jacqueline Bianco of Valdese, and Louise Juliette Copenhaver and husband, Howard of Morganton.Connie expressed the very essence of beauty, talent, intelligence, generosity, and kindness. Her indomitable spirit, joy, and courage under adverse conditions will forever inspire the greatness in us all. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2009 at Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Riley officiating.
