Cornelia Bush

Cornelia Bush, 94, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Born on May 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew LaFevers and Nannie Jane LaFevers. Cornelia was a member of High Peak Baptist Church.

Cornelia is survived by her son, Rockwell Bush and wife, Geraldean; seven grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Ann Bush.

In addition to her parents, Cornelia is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Thurman Bush; son, Paul Bush.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the colonial chapel of the funeral home with the Dr. Kevin Percell officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
