Curtis Elijah Robinson, 50, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
Born in Mitchell County, NC on September 3, 1971, he was the son of Larry W. Robinson and Barbara Hylemon Robinson. Curtis was a devoted son and father who loved his family. He loved animals of all kinds, but especially his dog, Dex. Curtis enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Curtis is survived by his sons, Elijah and Lucas Robinson; siblings, Daniel Robinson, Kimberly Robinson Fulp (Shane), Frankie Robinson, and Nevaeh Robinson; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the church with Revs. Terry Robinson and Shane Fulp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
