Cynthia Moss Mooney Walker

Cynthia Moss Mooney Walker, 61, of Inman, SC died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Born in Shelby, NC on January 26, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Moss and Jewel Lail Moss Luckadoo. Cynthia was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Morganton, NC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John David Mooney.She is survived by her husband, John F. "Johnny" Walker of the home; a daughter, Amy Shull and husband, Terry, of Morganton, a step-daughter, Cindy Cook and husband, Kenneth, of Morganton; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Yavonne Buckner of Forest City, NC; two step-sisters and three step-brothers.The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening at Bible Baptist Church starting at 7:00 p.m. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
