Dale E. Sigmon

Dale E. Sigmon, 65, of Drexel, NC died Thursday, March 13, 2014. Born in Burke County, NC on October 31, 1948, he was the son of Ralph Edward Sigmon of Drexel and the late Betty Marie Brown Sigmon. Dale retired from Wharton-Smith, Inc. after 31 years of dedicated service. He was a faithful member of Healing Springs Church in Hickory, NC where he was involved with The Faith Connection, a video and live-streaming ministry. A very talented man, Mr. Sigmon was a master carpenter, woodworker, and inventor.Dale is survived by his wife, Roxanne Miller Sigmon of the home; daughters, Lynn Marie Sigmon Brown and her husband, Michael, of Morganton and Sheila Maya Spencer and her husband, Brad, of Hickory; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Glenda Stephens and her husband, Ronald, and Carol Whisnant, all of Drexel; and a number of loving nephews and nieces.The memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Healing Springs Church with Pastor Brad Spencer and Pastor Walter Sigmon officiating.
