Daniel "Danny" Brown

Daniel “Danny” Brown, 46, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, July 20, 2015.  Born in Augusta, GA on November 9, 1968, he was the son of Barbara Brown of Asheville and the late Herman Donald Brown.  Danny graduated from North Carolina School for the Deaf (NCSD) in 1988 and then attended Western Piedmont Community College.  He then worked in the dorm at NCSD as a residential life trainer and also at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind.  Danny also assisted with the Girl Scouts at the South Carolina school.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, April Collins Brown of the home; children, Bronx and Danielle Brown, both of the home; and brothers, David Brown and Jonathan Brown and his wife, Dena, all of Asheville.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church.  The memorial service will follow in the church at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Lineberger and the Rev. Fred Schuszler officiating.
