Daniel E. Moses

Daniel E. Moses, 72, of Valdese, NC passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. He was born on April 24, 1950 in Burke County to Isaiah Moses and Thelma Baker Moses. He was a past member of First Advent Christian Church. Daniel worked at Morganton Dyeing and Finishing and the Western Youth Correctional Institute. He was a member the National Guard. Daniel loved to go to auctions and buy things especially when he found a good deal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Isaiah Moses, Jr.; and nine half-siblings.

He is survived by his sisters, Marie Abee, Inez Hill and Wilma Sartain; nephews, David Moses, Chris Abee and Eddie Sartain; niece, Lori Sartain.

Graveside will be held at Burke Memorial Park on Wenesday, August 3, 2022 at 3 pm with the Rev. Charlie Lewis officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
