Visitation
Daniel Kotzen, 63, of Morganton, NC, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023.
Born in Fort Apache, AZ on December 26, 1959, he was the son of the late Ted and Lilly Kotzen.
Daniel was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed bull riding.
A loving husband, father, and son, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debra Riels Kotzen; sons, Cody Kotzen, Ryan Coker, and Michael Coker; brother, Jeff Kotzen (Valerie); sisters, Terri and Debbie Kotzen; sister-in-law, Pamela Mackey (Michael); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Praise Assembly of God with Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Park Hill Memorial Gardens.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

My brother was my whole world, he was my Best Friend, I cherished every moment that I spent with him, when we were younger, he was a trouble maker, lol, his teachers didn't like him very much, only because he was mischievous, and got into trouble alot, but when he got older, he joined the Army, for 8 and a half years, it changed him completely!
