Danny Bennett, 57, of Morganton, NC, went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 20, 2021. Born in Summers County, WV on April 8, 1964, he was the son of the late William Bennett and Beverly Musslewhite Smith. Danny was raised in the Baptist faith. He worked at Kellex Furniture and loved to hunt and fish. He will be loved and missed by all.
Danny is survived by his sister, Pam Pettry (Stacey); brothers, Doug Bennett and David Bennett (Melissa); nieces, Kelsey, Alysha, Elizabeth, Kayla, Destiny, Autumn, McKenzie, Brittany, and Sara; nephews, David, Dekota, Kaleb, and Trenten; two great-nieces; and eight great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Eddy Bunton officiating. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Gethesmane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill, WV.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
