Danny Yost

Danny Ray Yost, 69, of Morganton, NC died Sunday, June 26, 2016. Danny was born in Rowan County, NC on June 25, 1947 to the late Ray McKinley Yost and Edna Louise Yost.
The two most important things in Danny’s life were serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loving his family. Danny was married to his wife, Brenda for forty-six years. He was an active member of East Marion Baptist Church.
Danny is survived by his wife, Brenda Ruth Bost Yost of the home; daughters, Jennifer Yost Winburn (Michael) of Memphis, TN and Crystal Yost Bazemore (Steve) of Tulsa, OK; son, Philip Ray Yost (Erin) of Birmingham, AL; and grandchildren, Smith Bazemore, McKinley Winburn, Soren Bazemore, Addison Winburn, Cyprus Bazemore, Manning Yost, Kamryn Winburn, Miller Bazemore, Titus Bazemore, Nehemiah Bazemore, Jackson Yost, Zeb Bazemore, Michael Winburn, and Lacey Yost. Danny is also survived by brother, Donny Yost (Jeanne) of Salisbury; sister, Patty Yost (Mike) of Salisbury; sisters-in-law, Cathy Gourley (Rob) of Newport News, VA, Jan Baucom (Phil) of Gastonia, and Pat Lane (Dave) of Omaha, NE; and a number of nephews and nieces.
The memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at East Marion Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Walker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
