Dara Vania Barron, 30, of Burkemont Road, Morganton, NC, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at Grace Hospital. Born in Burke County, NC, on June 18, 1976, she was the daughter of Harvey and Patricia Barron of the home. Dara was a graduate of North Liberty School and attended Faith Freewill Baptist Church. She attended Turning Point Services/Burke Opportunities and loved all the people there.
In addition to her parents, Dara is survived by brothers, Evan Barron of Youngsville, NC, Chris Barron and wife, Sherri, of Franklinton, NC, Ashley Barron and wife, Kim, who is serving with the US Air Force in England; and three nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2007 in the fellowship hall of Faith Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Rocky T. Reese officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the fellowship hall one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Burke Opportunities, c/o Turning Point Services, 1911 Jamestown Road, Morganton, NC 28655. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
