Daryl Edmund Rosinski

Daryl Edmund Rosinski, 71, of Morganton passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Monday, August 2, 2021.  Born in Lucas County, OH on February 15, 1950, he was the son of the late Edmund and Ann Rosinski.  Daryl was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family dearly.  He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from General Mills with over 25 years of service.  Daryl enjoyed reading and researching weaponry as well as tinkering and fixing things.  He was a cat person and enjoyed caring for his favorite cat, Midnight.

Mr. Rosinski is survived by his daughter, Denise Rosinski Smith (Sean); granddaughter, Ryleigh Smith; sister, Charlotte Autry; nephew, John Autry; and a number of extended family.

In addition to his parents, Daryl was preceded in death by a brother, Edmund Rosinski.

A celebration of Daryl’s life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the home of Deborah Rex in Morganton.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
