David Brian Turnmire, 55, of Valdese, NC gained his Heavenly wings and joined his brother Bobby Turnmire, Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Born on May 11, 1969, he was the son of Robert and Evelyn Turnmire.
David had just retired from a local furniture manufacturing plant. He loved to fish, camp, and garden. He also loved his animals.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his wife, Kathy Turnmire; stepdaughter, Shannon Sigmon; sister, Lisa Turnmire; several aunts, uncles, and extended family.
David is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Turnmire; former wife, Monica Turnmire.
There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date for the Turnmire family.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
