Born in France on May 7, 1958, he was the son of the late Dayton Stuart Anderson and Lyda Louise McGalliard Anderson. Bryan was a member of Webbs Chapel Baptist Church in Lincolnton. He worked at Drexel Heritage until they closed and then began a second career with PCA in Morganton. A devoted husband and father, Bryan is survived by his wife, Angela Jean Smith Anderson; sons, Nicholas Ryan Anderson (Deanna) and Casey Clyde Scott Smith; 2 granddaughters; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Hallyburton (Robin); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Caleb Branchfield.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Rev. David McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice (amoremsupport.org/donate).
