Deborah Lyn Buff, 61 of Asheville, NC passed away, Monday, December 18, 2023. Born on May 2, 1962, she was the daughter of Glenda Pittman and the late Paul Pittman. Deborah loved laughing, talking, and cutting up and also enjoyed listening to music. She loved her family very much.
Deborah is survived by her mother; son, Travis Buff; grandchildren, Brett Gladden, Payton Smith; sisters; Renae Shaffer, Pamela Logsdon, Tracy Williams; brother, Eric Pittman; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family celebration of life service for Deborah.
In addition to her father, Deborah is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Woodrow Buff.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I grew up in Valdese. Me and Deb were really good friends and spent lots of nights together just talking. Love her family. We would get up in church and I played the guitar and we both sang. Such good memories and such a dear family. My sincere condolences. An angel gone too soon. ❤️❤️
I know it's hard to loose a family member but thought alot of Debbie she is in heaven now with her past family members rejoicing and being rewarded to be with her dad uncle aunts and all that has passed before her. She is looking down at all of here family and telling you don't grive because I'm not here be happy for me because there is no more pain and sorrow and I'm in a wonderful place. U will see me again but in your own time
