Declan Alexander Knight, 2 weeks, bright and shining light, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Sunday, August 25, 2024. Born on August 8, 2024, he was the son of Daniel and Lisa Marie Knight. He was Daniel and Lisa’s Micro Man. He loved when mommy sang and read to him. Snuggle time with daddy made him a fighter. He will definitely be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, Declan is survived by his sister, Anya; brothers, Luca and Kylian; paternal grandparents, PawPaw Adam Knight and MawMaw Ida Knight; maternal grandparents, PopPop Jimmy McKinney and Nanny Angie McKinney; uncles, David Knight, Jonathan Knight, Jimmy McKinny Jr., Michael McKinney; aunt, Lisa Goble, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1pm, Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1pm with the Pastor Adam Knight officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Little man was a fighter he came into this world for a very short time. He was loved and Continues to be loved by so many. my heart breaks for you all my thoughts and prayers are all ways with you ,You will hold your little man again in your arms. He will be waiting with the biggest smile on his face. Continue to trust in The Lord He will get you through this difficult time.
