Dennis Warlick, 61, of Morganton, NC passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 21, 2024. He was born on June 19, 1963 in Burke County to the late Richard Warlick and Viola Coffey Warlick. Dennis had attended Mountain Grove United Methodist Church and worked at Timberwoods Restaurant. He enjoyed working with crafts and painting.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by brothers, Dean Warlick and Doug Warlick; and sister, Denise Warlick.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Hollins Warlick; daughter, Alicia Colley (Brian); grandchildren, Eric, Damari, Calvin, Cris, Renee, Richard, and Charlotte; and step-daughter, Jessica Hollins.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with John Pruett officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Dennis is my cousin. His mother, Marie was my first cousin and we were together a LOT growing up! I used to see Dennis out different places but hadn’t seen him in a while. I’m disabled but will try to be there for his service. My deepest sympathy to his family. I’ll be praying for you throughout this time. So sad this is so close to Christmas.
