Dollie Yancey Milligan

Dollie Yancey Milligan, 48, of Morganton went to her eternal home on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born in Burke County on October 28, 1964 and was the daughter of the late William "Joe" and Nellie Speagle Yancey. Dollie was a devoted caregiver and loving wife and mother. She loved cooking, making crafts, and collecting everything.Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ricky Milligan; son, Joseph Milligan both of the home; daughter, Tina Milligan Bartsch and husband, Sean of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Ronnie, Dab, Sug, and Bo Yancey; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 at Bethel United Methodist Church, Dysartsville Road with Rev. Jack Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Sossoman Funeral Home.
