Donna “Sue” Clontz, 79, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
Born in McDowell County, NC on September 9, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Horace Wilson and Earge Effler Wilson. Sue was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She worked for Surety Federal Savings and Loan, which later became First Citizen’s Bank, and retired after 25 years. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Mrs. Clontz is survived by her husband, R. G. Clontz; sons, Brandon Clontz (Jamie) and Casey Clontz (Amber); grandchildren, Andi, Cade, Kadence, Braylen, and Arden Clontz; sister, Jeanette Leak; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a brother, Roby Wilson.
No services are scheduled for Sue at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VIA Health Partners Hospice.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
