Donnie Ray Jaynes

Donnie Ray Jaynes, 66, of Glen Alpine, NC died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Born in McDowell County, NC, he was a son of the late Thomas Theodore and Naomi Harris Jaynes.Surviving are his children, Rickey Lee Jaynes, Donna J. Secor, and Emory David Jaynes all of Marion, NC and Jennifer Jaynes of Drexel, NC; one grandson; one great-grandson; a brother, Carrol Jaynes of Tennessee; and sisters, Margaret Vess of Morganton and Betty Boyd of Texas.A graveside service for Donnie and his brother, Jerry, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery, Marion, NC with Rev. Billy Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends at Sossoman Funeral Home from 2:00. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
