Dr. Jamey Lee Myers

Dr. Jamey Lee Myers, 35, of Hickory, NC went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, May 17, 2013. Born in Burke County, NC on March 4, 1978, he was the son of Pastor Mark Myers and Wendy Singleton Myers of Morganton. Jamey was a member of Marketplace Church in Hickory. Jamey had worked for Sears in Hickory and Austin, TX, Macy’s in Houston, Texas, and finished his career in Pennsylvania with QVC.In addition to his parents, Jamey is survived by his sisters, Amber Myers Welner and her husband, Matthew, of Hickory and Annabelle Myers of Morganton; grandparents, Jimmy and Iris Singleton and David Myers.Jamey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Myers, and his great-grandmother, Rena Singleton.The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Pastor J.D. Mallory officiating. A private graveside service for immediate family will follow.
