Dustin James Pearson, 38, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 18, 2020. Born in Burke County, NC on July 13, 1981, he was the son of Marilyn Pearson and the late James W. Pearson. Dustin was a gentle giant who was very loyal to his friends and family. He enjoyed working with computers.
In addition to his mother, Dustin is survived by aunts, Ann Harklerode (Riley) and Frances Metcalf; uncles, Chuck Radford (Susan) and Ricky, Lewis, and Mike Pearson; a special friend, Shasta Taylor (children, Kimber-raye and Nathaniel); and a number of cousins and other extended family.
Services for Dustin will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
