Edith Annis

Edith Annis, 92, of Morganton, died Friday, February 26, 2010 after a period of declining health. She was born March 3, 1917 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Frank Martin. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Annis; and an infant son, Edward.Mrs. Annis is survived by her daughters, Connie Kurtz and husband, Ed, of Morganton, and Beverly Neighhorn and husband, Robert, of Grand Blanc, Michigan; a brother, Bill Martin, of Michigan; grandchildren, Chris Kurtz and wife, Joy, Jason Kurtz and wife, Teresia, Sarah Morgan and husband, Ryan, and Carrie Safran and husband, Stephen; and great-grandchildren, Harrison and Cameron Safran, Anna Grace Kurtz, and Jaxon and Ava Maria Kurtz.A funeral service for Mrs. Annis will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Mt. Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial will be Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Linden City Cemetery in Linden, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Mt. Home Graceful Giving Building Fund, 2272 Mt.
