Edith S. Husband

Edith S. Husband, 84, of Grace Ridge in Morganton, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born on November 25, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edward Sanders and Jane Blair Quigg Sanders. She was the secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church in Norristown, PA and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Morganton, NC. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Schaible, Florence Cook, Mary Sanders and Anna Sanders; brothers, Edward, George and Harry Sanders.Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Clarence (Bud) Richard Husband; daughters, Jane H. Mueller and her husband, Michael of Morrisville, PA, Susan H Hertzler and her husband Keith of Hickory; son, C. Richard Husband, Jr. and his wife, Sara of Haymarket, VA; sister, Mildred Swannson of New Jersey; also surviving are ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Grace Ridge with the Rev. Michael Riley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Grace Ridge.
