Edna Yount Hunt, 86, of Morganton, NC died Monday, September 5, 2016. Mrs. Hunt was born on September 24, 1929 in Burke County to the late Charlie Yount and Ella Shepard Yount. She attended Praise Assembly of God.
Mrs. Hunt is survived by her sons, Don, Bobby, Tony, and David Hunt all of Morganton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and a sister, Eliza Milligan of Morganton.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bulo Hunt.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Praise Assembly of God. The funeral will follow in the church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Golden Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bostic, NC.
