Edward Jones, Jr.

Edward Jones, Jr., 48, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 25, 2021.  Born in Wake County, NC on April 5, 1973, he was the son of Edward Jones, Sr. and the late Cynthia Diane Lively.  He was loved by many.

In addition to his father, Mr. Jones is survived by a sister, Amber Davis; brother, Ricky Jones; nephews, Gavin Jay, Braxton Jones, and Ryan Jones; uncle, Ralph Jones; and a number of extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2 021 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jon McDivitt officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
