Edward McGee, 51, of Connelly Springs, NC passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Catawba County. Born in Burke County, NC on July 23, 1965, he was the son of Betty Waycaster McGee Hastings of Connelly Springs and the late Johnny Elmore McGee. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend.
In addition to his mother, Edward is survived by his son, William McGee of Morganton; a daughter, Amber McGee of Marion, NC; a grandson, Christopher McGee; and three brothers, Lawrence, Lee, and Jason McGee.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm, Friday, November 11, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 3 pm at Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
