Edward “Pete” Eugene Carswell, 69, of Morganton, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Born on May 14, 1951, he was the son of the late Azer Bill and Bonnie Anthony Carswell. Pete enjoyed hunting, fishing, fast cars, his animals, and being in the woods. He also loved his family and playing with his grandbabies.
Pete is survived by his wife, Susan Marlene Carswell; son, Aaron Carswell; Marlana Carswell; grandchildren, Raya Dellinger, Kalena Carswell, Malaya Carswell, Walker Carswell; siblings, Jerry Carswell, Brenda Nalley, Linda Annas.
In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by his sons, Kelly Carswell and Eric Carswell; brother, Kenny Carswell and Alfred Carswell.
There will be a private graveside service for the Carswell family.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
