Effie Genelia Smith

Effie Genelia Smith, 88, died, Monday, April 21 2008. Effie was born in Burke County July 1, 1919 to the late Frank W. Smith and Geogianne Dale Smith.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Summie Smith. She is survived by a son, Tim Smith and wife, June of Morganton, and three grandchildren.Graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Glen Alpine Cemetery with Rev. Alan Sumlin officiating.
