Elaine "Granny" Stiles

Elaine “Granny” Stiles, 87, of Morganton, NC died Friday, October 21, 2016. Elaine was born August 4, 1929 in Jasper, AL to the late Christopher “CC” Clervy Richardson and Kathryn Decia Watkins Richardson. She retired from Holiday Laundry.
“Granny” is survived by a daughter, Anne Leonhardt and husband, David of Morganton; and sons, Mike Stiles and wife, Sandy of Morganton, Greg Stiles and wife, Karen of Morganton, and Tommy Stiles and wife, Teresa of Albemarle. She is also survived by grandchildren, Carrie Leonhardt Whitaker and husband, Robert, Chris Leonhardt, Scott Kent and wife, Jana, Jamie Stiles, Jeff Stiles, Jason Stiles and wife, Robin, Curtis Stiles and wife, Brooke, Matt Stiles and wife, Gina, and Katrina Stiles; great-grandchildren, Kaidance, Jack, Emily, Chelsea, Trenton, Kayla, Mandy, Garrett, Gaby, Evan, Paige, Gray, Jacob, and Skyler; and a special friend, Angie Davis.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by three infant sons, and a sister, Virginia Mallonee.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will held at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Marvin Ford and Rev. Eddy Bunton officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.

At other times, the family and friends will be at the home of Jamie Stiles.
