Elaine Mitchell Elliott

Elaine Mitchell Elliott, 73, of Morganton, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Grace Hospital. She was born July 3, 1944 in Alexander County, NC and was the daughter of the late Don Mitchell and Dorothy Little Mitchell. Elaine attended Walker Road Baptist Church. She retired from Broughton Hospital and later worked for her son, Sam at Elliott Chiropractic Center. Elaine was a true believer in her God and was gifted with talent and creativity in arts and crafts. She was a very loving person and was full of life. Elaine was a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Terry Elliott; son, Sam Elliott and wife, Michelle of Morganton; grandsons, Jaiden, Jerry, David and Forest; and canine companion, Peedy.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Walker Road Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at the church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jesse Carr officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Road Baptist Church Music Ministries, 100 Walker Road, Morganton, NC 28655.
