Elouise “Polly” Hull Polk, 85, of Drexel, NC died Saturday, April 08, 2017 at College Pines. Polly was born in Lincoln County, NC on October 1, 1931 to the late Marvin Hull and Alda Childers Hull Chapman.
Polly was a fun loving person who loved the Atlanta Braves. She was a former member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Polly is survived by her daughter, Debbie Icard of Drexel; grandchildren, Destinee Smith and husband, Kevin of Morganton and Rodney Pyatte and wife, Ashley of Hickory; and great-grandchildren, Harper Pyatte, Dustin Smith, and Axel Pyatte. She is also survived by brother, Donald Hull and wife, Janette of Morganton; step-sister, Betty Barnette of Glen Alpine; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her sister, Louise “Tib” Carter; brother, John Henry Hull; and step-sister, Thelma Epley.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, April 10, 2017 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
