Estella Lewis Watts

Estella Lewis Watts, 84, of Maiden died Saturday, March 10, 2012. Born in Ashe County, NC on July 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Vinson Arthur Lewis and Emma Nelson Lewis.Estella is survived by sons, Arthur L. Kaylor of Hickory, Ervin J. "Bo" Kaylor of Hickory, Charles R. Kaylor of Maiden, NC; a daughter, Mary Ann Kaylor of Connelly Springs, NC; sisters, Blanch Osborn of Monticello, GA, Zylpha Vanover of Creston, NC, and Tressie Winebarger of West Jefferson, NC; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Estella was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Watts; a son, Lester Allan Kaylor; sisters, Juanita Whitaker, Clair Sturgill, and Marie Robinson; and brothers, Robert Lewis and Ervin W. Lewis.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Lewis and Sturgill Family Cemetery in Creston, NC with Rev. Wayne Roark officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home in Morganton. At other times the family will be at the residence of Charles Kaylor in Maiden.
