Esther Wiseman Coffey, 74, of Morganton, NC passed away, Friday, December 11, 2020. Born on April 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eudora Wiseman. She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. Esther was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She filled her time around children between her job and church.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Gail Oxford; grandchildren, Jacob Oxford and wife, Megan, Katelyn Oxford, Lacey Oxford; great-grandson, Colton Ryan Oxford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Coffey; two sisters, and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, December 13, 2020 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Roy Coffey officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
