Eva J. Fisher

Eva J. Fisher, 97, of Morganton died Saturday, August 18, 2012 after a period of declining health. Born on September 17, 1914 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Fisher and Lucy Lavender Williams Fisher. Eva was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.Eva is survived by her great-grandchildren, Kevin Dale and Amy Snow, both of Morganton; a great-granddaughter-in-law, Nancy Dale of Morganton; and four great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann C. Dale, and a grandson, James Edward Dale.The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Forest Hill Cemetery with the Reverends Larry Thompson and Eddie Bunton officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to assist with funeral expenses.Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
