Evelyn Alexander Mull

Evelyn Alexander Mull, 91, of Morganton met her Lord and Savior to take her home to be with her husband, Ben Mull and family on Friday, January 2, 2015. Born in Iredell County, NC on March 30, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel Alexander and Sarah Addie Baker Alexander. Evelyn was a member at Mount Home Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 40 years. She served on various committees including WMU and was a prayer warrior. Evelyn loved her family very much. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Richard Mull; and brothers, Paul, Ray, and Waldo Alexander.
Evelyn is survived by a son, Richard Mull and his wife, Susan; a daughter, Janice Mull Clark, all of Morganton; sister, Dorothy Parker, of Norco, CA; grandchildren, Brian Clark and wife, Jackie, Brad Clark and wife, Lori, Ryan Mull and Lehern Mull; and great-grandchildren, Abby Clark, Austin Clark, Kate Clark, Leah Clark, Adasia Norman and Gavin Perkins.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Mount Home Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. The burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Graceful Giving Fund, c/o Mount Home Baptist Church, 2272 Mt.
