Evelyn Y. Brown

Evelyn Y. Brown, 64, of Morganton died Thursday, July 19, 2012, following a period of declining health. She was born in San Bernardino County, California and was a daughter of the late Albert Walter Wheeler and Evelyn Louise Grabow Rhoades.Evelyn is survived by her son, Daniel Wheeler and his fiancée, Jessica Horton; granddaughter, Presley Wheeler; a brother, Walter Wheeler and his wife, Norma, all of Morganton; and a nephew, Justin Wheeler of Statesville.No services are planned. However memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Susan G. Koman for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244. Sossoman Funeral Home & Crematory Center is assisting the family.
