Faye D. Laws, 75, of Morganton, NC died Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Born in Catawba County, NC on January 12, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Thomas “Roscoe” Dale and Onie Lee Keaver Dale.
Faye was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and she loved her church and her family. She enjoyed gardening and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Sheila Abernathy (Charlie); son, Tony Laws; grandchildren, Charity Reece (Landon), Brittany McCormick (Kyle), and Chandler Law-Domagala (Katherine); great-grandchildren, Rylan McCormick, Ryker McCormick, Ellie Reece, and Rylee McCormick; and sisters, Hazel, May, Dot, Margaret, and Lillie.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn “Junior” Laws; and brothers, Clifford and Tom.
The family will receive friends from 4pm until 5pm, Monday, October 14, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church. A funeral will be held in the church at 5pm with the Rev, Marty Bess officiating. Burial will follow at Salem United Methodist Cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Faye was my aunt, she was a giving, sweet caring lady and I'll remember her laughter and smile. She loved her family and her pets and took care of her mother for years, taking her mom shopping and to doctor visits. She was a sweet, gentle soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
