Faye Lambeth, 81, of Nebo, NC, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Born in Buncombe County, NC on October 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Brown Adam McNeil and Clara Lynn Johnson McNeil.
Faye was involved with Liberty United Methodist Church in Hiddenite, NC. She worked in the elderly nutrition program in Hiddenite and with the lunch programs at McLeansville Elementary and Middle Schools in Guilford County.
She loved traveling to Topsail Beach, daisies, and her cats and dogs.
Faye is survived by her son, Laird Lambeth and wife, Stacy; daughter, Lesa Bowman and significant other, Dean Minton; adopted daughter, Velma Toliver; granddaughter, Emily Welborn; great-grandchildren, Xander, Xayia, and Oakland; brothers, Ray McNeil and wife, Patty, and Roy McNeil and wife, Francine; sister, Evelyn McCallister; nieces and nephews, Neil, Tamra, and Scottie; multiple cousins; and her fur-baby, Squeaky.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Larry Lambeth; and brother, Morris McNeil.
Services for Faye will be private.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
