Faye Morgan

Faye Morgan, 86 of Morganton, NC went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Born on April 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Nettie Hensley. Faye was a member of Sunny Side Baptist Church and Friendly Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Western Carolina Center.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Judith “Judy” Moore (Eddie); grandson, Cody Moore (Ana); great-grandchildren, Hunter, Rosemary, and Finn Moore.

In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband, V.A. Morgan; son, Jerry Wayne Morgan; brother, Dois Garrison.

There will be a graveside service at 11am, Wednesday, July, 20, 2022 at Friendly Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
